STABLE STRIDES

🐴 Hoof Prints and Heartbeats An Equine-Assisted Learning Program by Changing Reins Hoof Prints and Heartbeats is an Equine-Assisted Learning (EAL) program that helps children and adults with special needs develop essential life, social, and emotional skills through meaningful experiences with horses and other animals. Participants engage in a variety of activities — including grooming, leading, observing, and horseback riding — all designed to build communication, confidence, focus, and self-awareness. Riding sessions emphasize balance, coordination, and trust, while also nurturing emotional connection and mindfulness. Each session provides a calm, supportive environment where participants learn how their body language, energy, and emotions influence their animal partners. These lessons encourage growth, empathy, and independence both in and out of the arena. At Hoof Prints and Heartbeats, every step, every ride, and every heartbeat leaves a lasting imprint — helping individuals grow in confidence, calmness, and connection.
